Including found and used materials, they try to understand and collaborate with materials and place in their multimedia practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">They love to create with others and are always looking for opportunities to connect and use art as a tool for advocacy and community building. Their work is informed by their informal education in gardening, design, and herbalism and their upbringing in Maine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">Violet spent five years working in public policy around housing, community development, and climate change. They are currently pursuing graduate studies in landscape architectecture and city &amp; regional planning.
